SciX 2020 Announcement May 22

After much deliberation, it is with great disappointment that we announce the COVID-19 pandemic has made it inadvisable to conduct an in-person SciX conference in Sparks, NV this October.

While nothing can replace face-to-face networking, we are exploring options for delivering on our promise to facilitate a robust scientific exchange in 2020. This is new territory, so getting your feedback is our first step. One way you can help is to provide us your feedback by taking the survey below. You have an important role in the SciX community and we want to hear from you!

Especially in these uncertain times, we are so thankful to be a part of this scientific community. Together with the FACSS member societies, our attendees, exhibitors, short course instructors, volunteers, and office staff are part of a truly special community. As our plans begin to take shape, we will be making announcements on our website, on our social media outlets, and by email. Keep your eyes open!

We hope that you stay healthy and safe.

Christopher Palmer

FACSS Governing Board Chair, 2020-2021
